1. Who we are
Remove Blank Pages from PDF — published on the Apple App Store under the name BlankAway: Remove Blank Pages — is one application with one name per store (together, “the app”). It is published by UXAVIA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for any personal data described in this policy.
2. Your documents never leave your device
- PDF files you open, the pages rendered from them, thumbnails, extracted text and file names are processed only on your phone or tablet. They are never uploaded, transmitted or stored by us.
- The app makes no network connections for document processing. The only network activity is the App Store or Google Play billing system when you buy or restore the one-time unlock, which is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy terms.
- Temporary working copies (your source PDF, page previews and the cleaned PDF) are kept in the app's private cache only for the current session and are deleted when you start over, choose another PDF, or automatically after 24 hours.
3. Data we collect
None. The app contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs and does not collect personal data, device identifiers or usage statistics.
4. Data stored on your device
The app stores three small settings locally: your preferred detection sensitivity, the number of free exports used, and whether the full version has been unlocked. They stay on your device and are not associated with you.
5. Purchases
The full version is a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your payment details. Use Restore Purchase to reinstate the unlock on another device signed in to the same store account.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
7. Your rights
Because the app collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or erase on your behalf. If you contact us for support, we use the details in your email only to reply, and delete the correspondence once the matter is closed. You have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have handled your data unlawfully.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
