UXAVIA LTD ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 15452835 (incorporated 30 January 2024), with our registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, https://uxavia.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect
1.1 Information you give us
When you contact us through our website form, by email or via WhatsApp, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address and the content of your message. If we go on to work together, we may also collect business contact details such as your job title, organisation and phone number.
1.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, and the date, time and duration of your visit. This data is used for security and to keep the website running reliably.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not collect special category data through this website.
2. Why we use your data, and our lawful bases
Under the UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for each use of your personal data. We use your data:
- To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you — on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To perform a contract with you — where processing is necessary to deliver services you have engaged us for.
- To keep our website secure and maintain records — on the basis of our legitimate interests in running our business safely and efficiently.
- To comply with legal obligations — for example accounting and tax record-keeping.
- With your consent — for anything we ask you to opt in to specifically, such as marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary, with:

- Enquiries: kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted unless the enquiry leads to a working relationship.
- Client and contract records: kept for 6 years after the end of the engagement, in line with legal and accounting obligations.
- Website logs: kept for up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- Have your data deleted in certain circumstances (erasure);
- Restrict or object to our processing, including objecting at any time to direct marketing;
- Receive your data in a portable format (data portability);
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis for processing;
- Not be subject to solely automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookies are small data files stored on your device by your browser. This website uses only essential cookies, which are necessary for the site to function and do not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this policy accordingly.
